白重瓣瑪格麗特學名Argyranthemum frutescens 'Molimba First Blush'...等，菊科木茼蒿屬多年生草本或半灌木植物，又稱重瓣白瑪格麗特，園藝栽培種，瑪格麗特品種之一，重瓣種(多層舌狀花)白色花之通稱，非指單一品種，有栽培出數品種，宿根性，株高十五至八十公分，可達一公尺，莖直立，多分枝，老莖呈木質狀，表皮常呈鱗片狀剝落，多單葉互生，葉卵形、寬卵形、長橢圓形、橢圓形、矩圓形，一、二回羽狀淺裂至深裂，一回側裂片二至五對，二回側裂片線形、披針形，裂端尖狀，基部楔狀或漸狹，向下延伸，葉緣羽裂，最上部葉全緣，不分裂，葉長三至十二公分，寬二至五公分，上部葉漸小，葉面深綠、綠、青綠、灰綠色，葉背淡綠色，兩面通常無毛，羽狀脈，葉脈中肋較顯著，於表面凹入而於背面隆起，無托葉，葉柄長十至四公分，有狹翼，單性花、兩性花，上位花，整齊花，頭狀花序，頭花直徑二十五至四十公釐，頂生，生於莖枝頂端，頭花多數，排列成不規則疏散之繖房花序狀，頭花梗長，花托平或稍凸起，托片膜質，無托毛，總苞寬十至十八公釐，全部苞片邊緣有亮灰、白色寬膜質，內層總苞片膜質擴大，近附片狀，外圍舌狀花是雌花，多層，花萼筒成鬚狀，花冠舌狀、唇形、條形、披針形，長約八至十五公釐，花白色，檐部三、四裂，裂片(花瓣)合生，中央管狀花是兩性花，花冠筒狀，長約八至十公釐，花黃、橙黃色，檐部五裂，裂片(花瓣)合生，雄蕊五枚，著生於花冠筒，花藥二室，縱裂，抱生柱頭，雌蕊心皮二枚，合生，花柱細長，柱頭分叉，子房下位，子房一室，基生(底生)胎座，瘦果，長筒形、線形、披針形、長披針形、橢圓形，單性花之瘦果有三條白色膜質寬翅形之肋，兩性花瘦果有一、二條具狹翅之肋，並有四至七條不明顯之細間肋，冠毛冠狀，白色，長一公釐以下。

瑪格麗特學名Argyranthemum frutescens (L.) Sch. - Bip、Pyrethrum frutescens (L.) Willd.、Chrysanthemum frutescens L.，英文名Marguerite、Marguerite Daisy、Cobbitty Daisy、Paris Daisy，菊科木茼蒿屬多年生草本或半灌木植物，又稱蓬蒿菊、茼蒿菊、木蒿菊、木菊、木春菊、東洋菊、巴黎雛菊、巴黎菊、法蘭西菊、瑪格麗特菊、小牛眼菊、延命菊、白仔菊、少女花、法蘭西菊花、瑪格麗特花、木茼蒿、蓬茼蒿，原產於西北非、加那利群島、歐洲，宿根性，株高十五至八十公分，可達一公尺，莖直立，多分枝，老莖呈木質狀，表皮常呈鱗片狀剝落，多單葉互生，葉卵形、寬卵形、長橢圓形、橢圓形、矩圓形，一、二回羽狀淺裂至深裂，一回側裂片二至五對，二回側裂片線形、披針形，裂端尖狀，基部楔狀或漸狹，向下延伸，葉緣羽裂，最上部葉全緣，不分裂，葉長三至十二公分，寬二至五公分，上部葉漸小，葉面深綠、綠、青綠、灰綠色，葉背淡綠色，兩面通常無毛，羽狀脈，葉脈中肋較顯著，於表面凹入而於背面隆起，無托葉，葉柄長十至四公分，有狹翼，單性花、兩性花，上位花，整齊花，頭狀花序，頭花直徑二十五至四十公釐，頂生，生於莖枝頂端，頭花多數，排列成不規則疏散之繖房花序狀，頭花梗長，花托平或稍凸起，托片膜質，無托毛，總苞寬十至十八公釐，全部苞片邊緣有亮灰、白色寬膜質，內層總苞片膜質擴大，近附片狀，外圍舌狀花是雌花，通常一層，有培育出多層品種，花萼筒成鬚狀，花冠舌狀、唇形、條形、披針形，長約八至十五公釐，花白、粉紅、紅、紫、黃..等色，有栽培出基部呈黃、紅、白色或雙色，頭花呈現色環，檐部三、四裂，裂片(花瓣)合生，中央管狀花是兩性花，花冠筒狀，長約八至十公釐，花黃、橙黃、褐黃、深棕色，檐部五裂，裂片(花瓣)合生，雄蕊五枚，著生於花冠筒，花藥二室，縱裂，抱生柱頭，雌蕊心皮二枚，合生，花柱細長，柱頭分叉，子房下位，子房一室，基生(底生)胎座，瘦果，長筒形、線形、披針形、長披針形、橢圓形，單性花之瘦果有三條白色膜質寬翅形之肋，兩性花瘦果有一、二條具狹翅之肋，並有四至七條不明顯之細間肋，冠毛冠狀，白色，長一公釐以下。
